For Patients

Without clinical trials, we would not have life-saving prescription medications, vaccines, over-the-counter medications, and other medical advances. Patients play a critical role in helping to find treatments for hundreds of diseases. We’re grateful for your interest, and we’re here to help you explore the possibility of participating in a clinical trial with us.

We value your time

The first step of the pre-screening process typically involves completing an online questionnaire. This is a quick and easy way to confirm if you meet the main eligibility requirements. If you potentially meet the criteria for the study, you will continue the pre-screening process. This may include a call with a Nurse Enrollment Specialist and/or a medical records review by your physician. The pre-screening process helps to confirm that you may be a candidate for the study and what you may expect from participating in a study before you go for a formal screening visit at the research site.

We're partners on your journey

Formation Bio’s team is hard at work identifying promising drugs to study, selecting top-notch research sites, and creating the best possible patient experiences. We can’t wait for you to meet our Nurse Enrollment Specialists! They are Registered Nurses with diverse experiences working with patients and clinical trials and will guide you through the pre-screening process. Following an initial eligibility check, you’ll connect with a nurse to further discuss the clinical trial and your possible interest and eligibility. Your Nurse Enrollment Specialist will be in close contact until you’ve met your local study team.

We believe knowledge is power

The decision to participate in a clinical trial is highly personal. That’s why we’ll share important trial details up front, such as the purpose of the research and your role in the investigation of the product. This information is there to help you make an informed decision. There are no silly questions. The team at the research site we will help refer you to will conduct the formal informed consent process at the screening visit.
